I think the key to winning over senior management involves two elements: i) appraising them of the risks as well as selling the benefits (free &#38; frank advice), and ii) trialling any social media app &lt;em&gt;internally&lt;/em&gt; before you go back with a business case to launch it externally.
If you haven't come to terms with the bog/podcast/wiki etc, internally, then you are certainly not ready to launch it on an (unsuspecting/unappreciative) public...</description>
